Now — Gainful Unemployment
What I'm focused on right now- works in progress, priorities, and what's paused.
Now
This page reflects what I’m focused on right now.
It changes as my attention changes.
Nothing here is a promise- It’s just a snapshot.
What I’m Working On
Building a small, durable web presence
I’m slowly shaping a handful of sites that share a common philosophy: simple structure, clear intent, and no unnecessary noise.
The focus isn’t growth for its own sake — it’s clarity.
If something earns more attention over time, I’ll give it more.
If it doesn’t, I let it stay small or fade out.
Defining what “sustainable work” actually means
I’m thinking a lot about:- how much work is enough
- what kind of effort compounds
- how to build things that don’t demand constant maintenance
This includes writing, light development, and experimenting with small revenue ideas that don’t require being “on” all the time.
Cleaning up old ideas
Part of the work right now is letting go.
I’ve been reviewing old projects, domains, and half-finished ideas — deciding which ones still matter, which ones belong in the archive, and which ones can be released without regret.
It’s been surprisingly clarifying.
What I’m Not Doing
I’m not:- chasing growth metrics
- launching startups
- optimizing for social media
- trying to monetize everything
- rushing decisions
If something feels forced, I step back from it.
That’s deliberate.
What’s Next
Over the next few weeks, I’ll likely be:- writing a few longer essays here
- refining the structure of this site
- slowly activating one or two related projects
- continuing to simplify rather than expand
Nothing urgent.
Nothing flashy.
Just steady, intentional work.
A Note to Future Me
If you’re reading this later:- Remember why you slowed down.
- Remember that clarity mattered more than momentum.
- Remember that you were allowed to choose what deserved your energy.
Everything else can wait.
